Pink and Girly

The same but completely different..............I used linen base card too and that cut really well. I also went to out local printers this morning and stocked up with different coloured 160g card. That will go through the robo with no problems....................So.......watch this space.

For my son's partner

Just the one today. I was kicking my heels this morning so decided to make Lisa's card which isn't until the end of next month. I found a lovely panel on UKS and decided to use that one. I think the card was a little thick, some of it cut cleanly and some didn't so quite a bit of tweaking needed. I suppose I'll get used to what it will cut and what it wont!!

Variation on a theme

As I had been having a play with the robo, I had already cut this one out. So I cut the whole image out and stuck it on an A5 card, added a few gems and a paper bow. This will do nicely for my brother and sister in law's anniversary on 1st June.

No prizes for guessing what I've been playing with all weekend!

My new Craft Robo............... I'm not clever enough to make my own templates, so at the moment I am downloading from UKscrappers..............there are some beauties on there.
The first card is for my grandaughter Katie she will be two early June.
This one is for my sister -in -law............who also makes cards, so has to be something different.

Just playing with the next two..................I love the lattice look

This one is for a couple who was presented with two grandchildren within a couple of weeks of one another. Now.....................you couldn't buy that in a shop could you?

Ruby Wedding card

Ordered for later in the week by my friend Madeline
Madeline's husband Roger is in hospital at the moment after having a cancerous kidney removed. Operation went well, then there were complications, and they had to open him up again. So poor thing is really under the weather at the moment. I hope this cheers him up!

A Card using Jayne Netley Mayhew cd

There are some lovely images on there but was disappointed with the inserts. It's difficult to import them into GCF too, you have to copy and paste because all the images are in adobe

I've never made any footy cards and this week have made four!!

This one is for the chairman of the boy's team who is retiring, I hope it doesn't look too much like an obituary.
The third card made for Ben. Just how many variations can you do with Man U and Ronaldo?

A 90th birthday card for a lady in a village close to here.

And a diamond wedding anniversary card for a couple in the same village. Imagine 60 years wed!

This card is made for someone I've known for about twenty years. I've never known her drink anything else but kronenberg( apart from coffee) so it just had to go on the front of her card

Sad card to make

First of all, we had some sad news last night. My uncle has died in his sleep he was 80 so I had to make the one card that I really don't want to do. And I'm afraid it was a hurried affair as we intended to be out all day today. So it took all of ten minutes. Sorry uncle Len!

The next card is for a friend for her daughter in law. She was most specific on what she wanted .............so here it is!

Been very busy already this week

Had an order for two bookatrix wedding cards, plus a football thank you card. But unable to get on with that one until I have details of what she wants printed on the card.

Up to now I have never had to make a football card then I get three orders in the space of a day. Two are for a little boy called Ben who is into Man U and particularly Cristiano Ronaldo so I was asked If I could do one with him on.

Then there is poor Louise Emma in hospital so I decided to make her a card to cheer her up. I hope it does the trick.

Good news!

The papermill shop replied to my email and A3 card was accidently left off when they opened their new website and transferred everything over. It should be back on sometime this week!

My Fiskars Border Punch has Exploded!

Not literally........It fell apart in my storage basket. Luckily I only bought it from Amazon 14th April so I am able to send it back for a refund with no additional costs to me.................They even paid postage back! Just one problem they don't just do a swap, you have to reorder and that particular punch is at the minute out of stock!!
But how's that for service?

Dragged My Husband to The Papermill Shop Today

I decided I needed more card today, especially white linen. Then I thought as we were there I may as well get a box of A3 card too as I am doing more and more 8 x 8 cards these days. Not being sure they were open as it was Bank Holiday went on their website first. Well I was in for a shock................NO A3 on their website............just A4 boxes.

I telephoned first to make sure they were open as it is about 40 miles away!! Also asked if they had A3 card....."Oh yes" she said.................Oh yes they did but NO WHITE at all, just not very good quality coloured. So ended up with just three boxes of A4
I have emailed them asking why they seem to have stopped selling it, just waiting for a response now.

Where else will I get it? The papermill shop was so handy!

Cards for a Brother and Sister

Their birthdays are at the beginning and end of May. They are both chefs, but I thought I would do something a little more feminine for Andrea.............although her father says she is not into alot...............All women like shoes don't they?
