Valentine's Card in Lilac

Made this for a friend to give to his partner. It is made from a kit from The clipart fairy and cut it around a bit. The kit is called double hearts and come in a natural color, but I wanted it in lilac so I took the single heart that comes with the kit into my GCF and tweaked the colour. I then cut out the center of the heart so I could use my new magnolia stamp. The card is a large 8 x 8

I can safely show this one now!

Made for my son Neil's 40th birthday last Monday. He browses facebook regularly so I couldn't post it before his birthday. Made again with the brilliant image by Victoria Case, but coloured in a different colour way!! Two Valentine Cards made as an order for the same young man..............lucky him!

Valentine's Card and Mother's Day

I made this anniversary card from a kit from The Clipart Fairy, I was trying it out for size really, I wanted it to be as near to 6 x 6 as possible. But although the two hearts are 6inches across the rest of the card was too small for what I wanted.
So when I made the Valentines card I added the extra plate that came with the kit to make the base wider, then I made the card almost 8 x 8 I think it improves it.................Sorry Wendy!
This card is also a kit from The clipart fairy, it comes with several backing papers and all the accessories.............really good value and worth a look at her webpage

Arc Side Easel

When I was asked to make a 65th birthday card for a man to give his wife, I knew exactly what to use. I bought this kit from The clipart fairy a while ago, and as I always buy interactive, I thought I would make it into an 8 x 8 side easel card................Cos I really am into these at the moment!! I finished it off with a spray of flowers on the base.

I'm Well & Truly Hooked on These

They are all 6 x 6 except the 21st Birthday card, which is 8 x 8. So easy to plan and put together. The plaques I got from the clipart fairy, she does them in several coloursways........but I just tweak mine a bit in the hue slider to get the colour I want.

My 92 yr old mother in law's card .... she loves owls! For my friend Chris, using a digi stamp from just inklined.
An order for Lauren's boyfriend's 21st Birthday

For my Grandson's birthday

And lastly an order from a mate on Facebook

Side Easel Card Template

First of all, can I just say this shape is not attributed to me. I started by cutting a blank 15 cm x 30 cm and scoring down half way. Then scored the front diagonally from the top left to the bottom centre line.
Now crease so when stood up it looks like this.
Cut another square 15 cm x 15 cm and use as the topper and attach to the triangle piece.
Easy when you know how!

A Couple of Side Easel Cards

Saw one made like this just a day or so ago and thought I would give them a go. Also decided I needed some plaques, so ordered those and some images from The Clipart Fairy. The plaques are just the job for square cards and make a lovely backing for a topper.
The flower topper is from the set from the "Help Katie appeal" and is from just inkclined......
Very easy to colour, and I think very effective!

Just look at this fabby image

I am friends with a lot of crafty girls on facebook, and when one... Michelle Cassell.... showed a card with this image I just had to have it. She is what us Brits call a buxum wench. I know for a fact it will get well used, not that I know a lot if beer swilling men.................well just a few!! As it happened I had an order in for a 70th birthday card and inside she wanted the beer drinkers prayer. So what was more than apt for the image!!
It is an image from Victoria Case.........not a lady I have heard of........ but she does some fantastic images, I can see me buying more.
You can find it HERE

It was also used for Roger's 65th Birthday too, A different colourway and it looks like a different image. And in case you don't know the beer drinkers prayer...............here it is

Our bitter
which art in barrels
Hallowed be thy drink
Thy will be drunk
At home as it is in tavern
Give us this day our foamy head
and forgive us our spillage
as we forgive those who spill against us
And lead us not into incarceration
but deliver us from hangovers
for thine is the beer, the lager and the cider
forever and ever
Barmen

I have entered these cards into the promarker challenge "Men's cards" which can be found HERE

Second order

The first one was a special order, for a husbands 65th Birthday, He's recently retired and had a couple of serious operations. To get back to fitness he has taken up walking and regularly takes a bus to about 7 miles from home and then walks home. Hence the image.

Some digi image cards (teenagers)

One friend ordered all of these, and I really enjoyed colouring the images. Then another friend saw them and ordered some too. Busy busy!!

More orders.........

A wide selection this time, shame they are ordering A5 recently, as I enjoy making square cards just a little better!
