Three Golden Wedding Cards

The first two are for the same couple. Well I'll rephrase that.....one is for the wife and one's for the parents. I printed the fronts out on pearlised card to give a better gold effect, but as usual it doesn't show well on the photograph.

The bottom card is for another couple. The sentiments were done in Scrapbook artist, which I can plan and save for future use.

All the kits are from "The clipart fairy" which you can mix and match.

Punches and diecuts

Punches and diecuts are the order of the day at LIM this week. Now fortunately I was asked to make a pearl wedding card, and it wasn't until it was finished I realised it fitted the bill perfectly.

The card an all the trimmings is made from pearlised white card, which doesn't show in the photo, which is a shame as it really makes it!!

The heart is die cut with Nellie's multi heart frames...  the centre heart is then embossed with a crafts too hearts folder.

The strip at the bottom of the card is punched with a Martha Stewart daisy border punch.

Finished with a few mulberry roses and flowers and two pearl hatpins.

Happy Birthday Less is More

Wishing Chrissie and Mandi a very Happy Birthday at Less is More. I'ts week 53 and hard to believe this has now been going for a full year. I didn't start getting involved at the very start but soon got to hear of it and loved the way the cards turn out. I think I've only missed a couple along the way.

This week we are back to the very first week where they started with the theme of colour. This week it is

AQUA 

I haven't had my punches out for a while, and I've got four or five mega papermania punches which suit around the card such as this one.

I've used an aqua coloured card base, and punched the topper using white linen. (not as easy to line up the punch as it  looks)

The heart is a spellbinders nestie with computer generated sentiment, I think this would look brilliant with a red base and made into a Valentine's card..............I may have a go! 

And I couldn't resist it....using a different punch............A Valentine's card!

2nd LIM card

 This is my 2nd card for LIM this week, and as you can see it's from the above sketch. I have used a metal mesh and what better to hang on there but handbags?

I've recently bought the Pretty Tuff cd from polkadoodles which gives a fair few images suitable for boys, teens and men. So I've put this together to suit the sketch. Hope you like!
