Then she brought this thing up..........it looked like a small pebble, but after prodding it a bit realised it was in fact part of a solid rubber ball. So to the vets this morning as she was still vomiting.
Lo and behold part of the ball was lodged in her gut, so she had to have surgery.
I've been worrying all day but the phone has just this minute rung to say she can come home.

Sounds like you have had quite a worrying day...but glad everything turned out okay! Your cards are fabulous Val as are the ones previously posted...have been neglectful of my blog hopping recently lots of visitors and not enough time. lol
