I've been meaning to give this a go for a while, after seeing Janeygrey on crafters reunited forum make one similar. Ah I thought.........this will suit the challenge on Less is More this week, which is acetate. I printed the card front out just a wee bit smaller than the base card which is 6 x 6 then cut a piece of acetate 6 x 6.5. Added a small contrasting border on the acetate, top and bottom, then I scored down both sides of the longer sides, and wrapped it around the card front before adhering it to the card blank. Thus hiding all the tape and adhesive. It gives a sort of bubble effect, as you can see by the second photo.

Val, this is so cute, love the little flapper and the sentiment. The acetate is genius, like a shop window - ooo ideas coming (lol)!
What a lovely card and great image well done with the tricky acetate.
