A Happy Accident?

I knew I had some sheets of metal somewhere............After making my first card, I found them......in my filing cabinet..... the only place I didn't look

Now down to my card, the metal was green and I used part of the embossing folder from crafts too called dandelion whispers, I then tried to highlight the flower heads by using alchohol inks, but smudged it slightly so had the bright idea of using nail polish remover, to remove the smudge........................What did it do but take the green away...................well part of it. It gives it a sort of grungey look, and I quite like it! I hope Mandi and Chrissie does too at Less is more

Another one very difficult to photograph successfully though

Well done Val! I had some "copper" metal sheets but the alcohol inks lifted all the colour so had to do something different! Lovely card, Sandra

What a wonderful folder and a fabulous card. The effect of your nail varnish remover on this metal is great.
Brilliant Val!
Thanks again.

WOW! Val what a great discovery. I really like the effect, even if it wasn't the original intention. If I ever find my metal sheets, I'm going to give this a try. This is such a stand-out card!! Love it!!
